The upgrades include Higher DHW Operating Pressure, Higher Boiler Supply Temperature, Increased Warranty and New Welded Plumbing that eliminates ProPress fittings. The new baseline has the same plumbing dimensions as the previous design and hence the changes are transparent from an installation or startup perspective.   Effective immediately, the baseline SmartPlate models (both double wall and single wall configurations) will see the new plumbing without use of ProPress fittings, Higher Boiler Supply Temperature of up to 250°F and 5-year Heat Exchanger Warranty as a standard offering at no added cost.
